When I mentioned that my job enables me to travel all around the world..people would say ‘bestnyer dapat jalan2..

That’s the shiny part. We seldom reveal the dark and gloomy side of our life. Imagine being cast away in the middle of the ocean. Ranging from 4 to 6 months..my longest tour was 8 and a half months.
When I watch those reality shows where all the participants whine about missing their families and friends, well it can’t match us by a mile. Sheesshh..those sissies..

Sitting alone in my cabin on one of those lonely nights..staring at the cold endless ocean. A thousand thought raced through my mind. You can think of all the things in your life. Planning all the things you wanted to do. Thinking of all the people you wanted to see. Looking back at all those regretting moments. It can drive even the coolest people off the wall.

I wonder if it would be different this time.

Everytime friends and family ask me what do I do for a living…I’ll just simply mention that I’m a sailor. Keje mop lantai je.
Technically I am a marine engineer. I keep all the machinery running in good condition..This are a  few of my ‘babies

Ni nama dia enjin kapal..saiz dia besar umah tiga tingkat..betol..tak tipu punya..

Inilah wajah seorang injineer..masa ni kat norway..
Korang jangan le teruja bila mamat/minah yang go oversea tu kata main salji masa winter best..

Best pala hotak..kat sini aku kena ribut salji..pastu kena buat keje tgh2 ribut tu..rasa macam dalam movie je..

The reason why i didn’t  post  new articles in my blog  is because  my cat  was on strike right on top of my notebook.

A long time ago…there were three famous lumberjacks in the Kota Tinggi District. Ah Ping, Hwang Hua and Lok Heng..

The three of them wanted to prove to each other,who is the best lumbers in that land. So they made a competition..whoever is the fastest  to clear one hilltop would be the Champion.

Off they went to the hills…with their powerful chainsaws, trees fell down like flies hit by ridsect. The hilltops where they compete were almost clear. The competition was very close.

This ravenous act has angered the ‘penunggu’ (spirit) of the hills. So the ‘penunggu’ has put a curse on them. All the three lumberjacks  couldn’t find their way down the hills and stuck there for eternity.

  Their friends and families tried to look for them for days and weeks but to no avail.

Commemorating to the memory of these three cursed lumberjacks..the three hills where they were lost was named after them.
   
Nobody dared to come close there and develop the area, until the Johor State has granted the land to FELDA.

Thus..three FELDA emerged from that area..Felda Bukit Aping, Felda Bukit Wa Ha and Felda Lok Heng.

For a second time in my not so successful soccer career, I was given the responsibilty to take the spot kick.
The previous was in a tournament way long time ago while i was at Pasir Gudang Shipyard.

Placing the ball on the marked spot. I looked at the goalie’s nervous face looking back at an equal expression. Words from my frens and coach came running acros my mind…’grit your teeth!!’..’clench your fist!!!’..’keep your body straight’!!!..

I started my run…"THUD!!!!!"… the supporters roar with excitement!!…

Just like in my previous penalty shot…..I kicked it straight towards the goalie and he parried it. My team lost.
